We look forward to you joining us Thursday, November 17th, 2022 at the City Club of San Francisco is in the historic "Stock Exchange Tower" in the SFO Financial District. It's a museum-like experience, with restored art deco architecture and famous original artwork.

Ronak Desai
SVP/GM, AppDynamics

Ronak is executive management for the engineering function at AppDynamics. He has been part of the two successful startups, sold to Cisco for $1B and $1.4B respectively. At Insieme, he was founding engineer and contributed to building the world's most comprehensive SDN solution. At AppDynamics, he's currently responsible for ~$5B product lines with ~1800 engineers distributed globally.

Ronak leads by example and innovation, and customer obsession has been key principle of his management style. He has 50 patents, and has been able to attract, hire and retain executive and engineering talent. His specialties are Cloud Networking, Hybrid cloud, SDN, Distributed systems, and High availability.

Laura Vetter
CTO

Laura Vetter is a subject matter expert in methodology and tooling for Monitoring, DevOps, and full stack Observability, namely with AppDynamics and other Performance Monitoring Tools in the competitive landscape. With over 20 years of hands-on experience working in IT Ops and leading large teams, she is particularly skilled in understanding how those tools can meet the visibility needs of application-driven, Fortune 500 organizations.

Laura is well-versed in building solutions for monitoring, alerting, and reporting demands at scale. With her team of consultants and solutions architects, they roadmap process to help organizations mature along the curve, wherever they're at in the journey.

As well, Laura is a certified subject matter expert in Splunk, monitoring global SAP ERP landscapes, and enabling Software Development and DevOps teams to leverage governance process for onboarding apps to CI/CD pipelines to get more secure and quality deployments.

Joe Byrne
Executive CTO, AppDynamics

Joe Byrne is Vice President of Technology Strategy and Executive CTO at AppDynamics, where his primary focus is on working with customers and prospects on observability strategy and helping with digital transformations. He also works closely with sales, marketing, product and engineering on product strategy. Prior to AppDynamics, Joe held technology leadership roles at Albertsons, EllieMae and Johnson & Johnson.

Dean Marcic
Certified Master Sommelier

Dean Marcic is a certified sommelier with the Court of Master Sommeliers, with over 15-years of fine dining restaurant experience. He is a California native and has worked in wine, spirits, and beverage management in acclaimed San Francisco-based restaurants such as Perbacco, Salt House, Spruce, Atelier Crenn, Town Hall, and Lolinda.
